Artist June Atkin (born 1935, New York City) had a vibrant artistic life in NYC until relocating to Maine in the early 2000’s. She received her BFA from the Yale School of Art (studying with Josef Albers) and went on to making many illustrations for books and magazines (it is a long list).

June made a large body of erotic drawings in the 70’s, included in many publications. Owl Cock was also featured, as a pen and ink drawing, in the publication 1976 The Whole Sex Catalog (edited by Berndhardt J Hurwood, published by Pinnacle Books).
